Thanksgiving in Chicago
We met up with our friends Erika and Justin Banks and their son Parley. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency it was very nice and a pretty good location near the pier and the Magnificent Mile.
Thanksgiving dinner was amazing. I think we went a little overboard but thats what Thanksgiving is all about right? It was a little expensive but totally worth it. We didn't have to cook, clean, or worry about burning anything.

It was pretty wet and cold. Apparently, they don't call it the "Windy City" for nothing. The worst part was that Kinsley would NOT leave her hat or gloves on.

The first night we got there we went to a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. They had a stage with some performers and Santa was there too. When the tree lit there were fireworks being shot off a skyrise. It was AMAZING!

We went to the Shedd aquarium. It was really fun to see everything. I think Sky and I acutally loved it more than Kins.
This is Kinsley and Parley riding a sea turtle.
As a disclaimer: No real animals were harmed during the taking of these pictures.

Skyler and Kinsley watching a beluga whale.

Kinsley in a model submarine.

In the penguin exhibit they had little penguin costumes that the kids could put on and then go down little slides.

If you can't tell, that is me and my family under the bean in the right hand corner.

Ha! That picture of the two little ones on the bus is the cutest thing ever! I love it! And this whole post makes me feel like we wasted our entire trip to Chicago just two weeks ago. Oh well, we'll just have to go back, right?
